LAN All Night Gaming Festival Donates $1,000 to North Texas Community Food Pantry
LAN All Night Gaming Festival proudly announces the official handoff of a $1,000 donation to the North Texas Community Food Pantry. The funds were raised during the April 2024 event, LAN All Night IX: The LAN Before Time. LAN All Night IX, themed “The LAN Before Time,” was a celebration of building healthy communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area through gaming. We wanted to take a moment to recognize some folks who came through with some nice donations that let us enhance your experience at our gaming festival, as well as share how well things worked! Halestorm was able to donate a Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro to serve as our new router and security camera DVR. LAN All NIGHT Gaming Festival recently donated more than 600 food items to the North Texas Food Bank that they collected at their inaugural event in Grapevine, Texas. The event’s primary attraction is the Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) section where gamers bring their computer to participate in 50+ hours of non-stop gaming and charity. There were tournaments, raffles, contests, a large free play area and a board game zone. Thank you to everyone who attended the inaugural LAN all NIGHT Gaming Festival! Thanks to you, more than 600 food items were collected for the North Texas Food Bank and more than 20 people donated blood to Carter BloodCare. We want to release a report on our network performance and internet issues some attendees experienced during the event.
